Welcome all to the love and grace of Jesus. Cornerstone United Methodist is excited to have you in worship with us today for our 10:30 blended service! Today, we start off with our praise band leading us in “Love God, Love People” and “Goodness of God”, followed by our choir leading us in worship with a rendition of “With a Voice of Singing” and “The Gift of Love”. Today, we are continuing our series entitled “Christianity 101”, where we explore what it means to be a Christian. Our scripture today comes from the books of Matthew, chapter 22:37-40 and John, chapter 13, verse 35. Our message will be presented by Rev. Dr. Brian Germano, and is titled “The Heart of It All”, where we conclude the series by exploring what Jesus felt was even more important that worshipping the “correct”. Finally, get ready to hear of two special presentations – a scouting ministries update presented by Nina Stubbs and Jim Johnson, as well as a commissioning of the El Salvador Youth Mission Team.
