Welcome all to the love and grace of Jesus. Cornerstone United Methodist is excited to have you in worship with us today. Today we continue our series on Christianity 101. This week’s sermon, presented by Rev. Dr. Brian Germano, is titled “Navigation” and focuses on the purpose, role, and authority of scripture in our faith journeys. We’ll learn what the Bible IS and is NOT, and how it is meant to guide us in our lives of faith as Christians. Today, our music will begin with “Wonderful Words of Life”, presented by Ms. Carolyn Kramlich, followed by an old favorite, “How Firm a Foundation”. Then, our fabulous chancel choir will present “O For a Heart”. Our music ministry will continue with “Build My Life” and “Thy Word”, as performed and presented by our Cornerstone Praise Band. we will be worshipping with our praise band leading us in “Holy Forever”, “O Come To The Alter”, “I Thank God”, and “Holy Water”. Our scripture today comes from the book of 2 Timothy, chapter 2, verses 14-17, and will be read by Lesley Jones. Thank you for joining with us today as we continue to grow our faith together!
