Here at Cornerstone, we believe God’s grace is shown through His love and mercy. We strive to live by grace, good works, and social connections, seeking to create a Christian community reflecting the love of Jesus to all generations by Nurturing, Connecting, and Impacting.

NURTURING
Nurturing individuals through healing and spiritual growth
Nurturing...
...begins with a focus on helping individuals to find spiritual, emotional and mental healing, and to begin to experience spiritual growth through tools that help us to grow closer to God (2 Corinthians 1:3-4; James 5:13-15; Mark 6:6-13).
Some of our intentional ministries for this component of our mission include our weekly worship services, GriefShare, our Prayer Ministry, and others.
CONNECTING
Connecting groups through relationships
Connecting...
...is the next step in our process and journey of Christian growth. As individuals come together to form groups, we connect those groups together through relationships of friendship, fellowship, study, and learning which in turn deepens our relationship with God (Acts 2:42-47; 1 Peter 2:5, 9-10; Luke 6:13-16).
Some of our intentional ministries for this component of our mission include our weekly Sunday School classes, Bible Study groups, children’s and youth ministries, and occasional church-wide fellowship events and celebrations.
IMPACTING
Impacting our diverse world through acts of service
Impacting...
...our diverse world with the love of Christ is the ultimate goal of our faith. Consequently, opportunities for us to reach our local and global community are a very BIG part of who we are at Cornerstone U.M.C. (Matthew 25:34-40; Mark 16:15; Luke 18:15-17)
Some of the intentional ministries for this component of our mission include our Cornerstone Preschool, our numerous Scouting partnerships, O’Rourke missions ministry, Operation Christmas Child, Trinity Table food ministry, OneRoof Ecumenical Ministry partnership, and our international mission partnership in El Salvador.
